Sol Cinema hired by Monty Pythons to celebrate Terry Jones (April 25th 2026)

Sol Cinema had the honour of joining the surviving Monty Python comedians Michal Palin, Carol Cleveland and film maker Terry Gilliam to celebrate the life of python Terry Jones, who passed away in 2020. An incredible statue was unveiled of Terry in Colwyn Bay, Wales.

Sol Cinema showed exclusive films of Terry Jones to fans dressed in Monty Python inspired costumes. A wonderful day. with other celebrities joining us including Eddie (Suzie) Izzard. Sol Cinema was featured in the newspapers here and here.
